Background: GravesÂ’ disease (GD) is an autoimmune disease caused by autoantibody targeting the thyrotropin receptor (TSHR) in the thyroid gland, resulting in hyperthyroidism with an annual incidence of 15 to 80/100,000 people worldwide.
